SmoothE - Garden of Ethan (ft. glibs)

I co-produced “SmoothE” with my friend and frequent collaborator, Swete.

It was recognized by Soundcloud and added to their official “New & Exclusive” playlist in August 2025!!!

Part of the magic of this song is that we cut the demo the same day I met Garden of Ethan for the first time.

Outside of the kicks and snares, most of the percussion on this is just us hitting or shaking various utensils from Swete’s kitchen. I like to capture the essence of the room when I produce, so I pitched the idea that we add as many new grooves as we could using only kitchen items. See if you can pick them out.

The groovy saxophone you hear was played by the talented James Also.
